There must be accountability.
Today, a wave of top congressional leaders joined our call for impeaching and removing Donald Trump.
This came after Trump incited right-wing traitors to breach the Capitol, ransack our center of government, and try to overturn the results of our election.
A Capitol Police officer died today. The mob carried arms, pipe bombs, and Confederate flags. Some carried zip ties to take members of Congress hostage.
If there is no accountability for Trump, his congressional accomplices, and the mob of traitors, they will do it again and again and again...until they succeed.
Why not just wait two weeks? Trump is too unstable to have the nuclear codes. And if Congress impeaches and removes him, Trump will be banned from ever holding federal office again.
