These are the 147 Congresspeople who, after personally witnessing a coup attempt on Capitol property, still voted to subvert the will of the people and overturn legitimate election results.

The behavior of these Congressional Republicans and Donald Trump emboldened the insurrectionist actions in D.C. and around the country yesterday, and it shows just how much work we have to do to repair our democracy. That’s why we’re calling on the House to immediately begin impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump to remove a dangerous white supremacist from power -- and on the Senate to vote to convict and bar him from holding any future office.

There are two ways you can help build the pressure:

  • TONIGHT: Donate $10 to Indivisible Project to keep these call pages up and running, fund ads to get the word out, and support all the work we’re doing this year to repair the damage the Trump administration has done and build a stronger democracy for everyone.
  • TOMORROW: Call your member of Congress and demand they support the impeachment of Donald Trump, then follow the link to call your senators and demand they convict and disqualify Trump from public office.

Congressional Republicans might have thought that they could slip under the radar amid yesterday’s chaos after casting votes to undermine the will of the people. But we know that their votes on the Hill and the actions of white supremacist insurrectionists are inextricably linked -- and that we have to get to work to root both of them out so we can move forward into a more inclusive, representative democracy. That starts with immediately impeaching Trump and showing these elected officials we’re paying attention. This is just our first step, and we need you with us throughout the fight.

Please stay safe, and remember that we’re stronger together.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
