Witnessing a violent mob infiltrate the U.S. Capitol at President Trump’s command made a long-standing pattern crystal clear: Trump’s social media accounts are the world’s most prominent organizing tool for violent white nationalists.

For years, social media companies Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube have profited from the use of their platforms by Trump and other hate groups to foment violence — in clear violation of their company policies.

Under public pressure following the attempted coup, a couple social media companies temporarily locked Trump’s account. This is too little too late. Even after Trump leaves office, he will continue to use his accounts to incite violence and peddle hate, conspiracy, and misinformation on a massive scale.

We’re currently fighting with these social media companies and need your outrage to turn up the pressure.
