John,

Thanks for being part of our team. I’m writing to let you know about more ways
to get involved with our work. There are many ways to get involved with
protecting your rivers, and here are five more actions you can take:

1. Share a river story.

Every river has a story. We’ve all had unique experiences with rivers, and we’d like to hear yours through our #5000MilesOfWild community.

2. Contact decision makers.

By contacting government officials, you add your voice alongside thousands of other activists to help create real change for our environment.

3. Join National River Cleanup projects.

You may have already taken the #rivercleanup pledge, but you can also join a group cleanup project—or organize your own.

4. Start your own fundraiser on Crowdrise.

From fun runs to birthday celebrations, you can turn your favorite events into opportunities to involve friends and family in river protection. Connect with us on Crowdrise to get started.

5. Partner with us.

If you’re part of a business or organization that values healthy rivers, let’s work together. There are many ways you can demonstrate your leadership and involve your team in fun volunteer events.

I know life is busy. I also know we can all make time for the causes we care
most about. Whether you prefer to act from your home or on a river shoreline
with other volunteers, we’ll help you find the best way to join our movement.

Explore ways to get involved with American Rivers, and help us protect and
restore our nation's rivers. [[link removed]]

Thanks for your help.
