John, It is clear that President Donald J. Trump is a danger to our country’s public safety. That is why Brady is joining bipartisan calls for the President’s immediate removal from office.
John, we are in a dark time for our democracy. Just yesterday, Trump continued to incite violence, imploring his followers to thwart his political defeat. He has shown that he will not stop inciting violent insurrectionism, and his reckless actions threaten Americans across the country — especially those who live in cities and states that lack the strong gun laws. There is no doubt that the strong laws in Washington, D.C. prevented further bloodshed and chaos. We cannot set a precedent that these undemocratic acts are acceptable. They are not. For the safety of our country and its current and future leaders, President Trump must be removed from office. John, please join us in this urgent call: We are demanding that Vice President Pence and the Cabinet Secretaries immediately invoke the 25th Amendment and remove the power of the presidency from Donald Trump. >>
