What we witnessed yesterday shook us to our core.

We joined Americans across the globe as we watched news outlet after news outlet report that white supremacist domestic terrorists stormed our Capitol Building.

These aggressors desecrated the very building our members of Congress work in to protect our Constitution and preserve our democracy -- and they did so at the calling of the president, Donald Trump.

We are disgusted, but hardly surprised.

Trump and his Republicans have fanned seditious lies long before Trump ever occupied the White House. And Trump has only added fuel to the fire since he started his false crusade on voter fraud and the results of the election he so easily lost in November.

The very future of our democracy is at the brink because of Trump -- and he MUST be stopped.

There has never been a more important time to show our country -- and the world -- we refuse to let Trump continue his dangerous disregard for our democracy.
