I hardly need to remind you that 2020 was one hell of a year. Since COVID-19 first emerged in Wuhan, China in November of 2019, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has moved like a tidal wave across the globe, spawning fear and confusion, routinely prompting hasty and drastic government action, based mainly upon shoddy science, manipulated statistics, and Big Pharma disinformation.
This so-called "Great Reset" has severely disrupted our everyday lives, curtailed our most basic civil liberties, and destroyed the economic livelihoods and future prospects of hundreds of millions of people, especially small businesses, workers, family farmers, students, and low-income communities.
While Amazon, Walmart, and the billionaire class have increased their wealth and power, like never before the needs of the underclass and the powerless have largely been forgotten.
One of the major driving forces fomenting widespread anxiety and fear have been the Internet Giants and the mass media, heavily invested in and dependent upon Big Pharma and multinational corporate advertising.
Even before COVID-19 took over the headlines 24/7, the mass media focused on the latest tweets and antics of Donald Trump and pretended that a return to “business as usual” under Joe Biden would solve all of our problems.
Here’s what I wrote right after the election. Thus far neither the conservative nor the so-called liberal or progressive media seem to be paying much attention to what the Organic Consumers Association and our national network of supporters have been saying throughout the year, and in fact what we’ve been saying for over two decades.

Throughout 2020, the OCA and a determined band of truth-seekers including Dr. Mercola, US Right to Know, GM Watch, Children’s Health Defense, and a small group of maverick reporters from the mass media have deconstructed the official story on the “origins” of COVID-19.
We have exposed the lies and diabolical cover-up of the Chinese government and the US scientific and medical Establishment, and identified the reckless scientists and funders responsible for the creation of the COVID-19 monster. “Gain-of-function” lab-engineered viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 are essentially “dual-use” bioweapons, hiding behind the facade of biomedical or vaccine research.
As we head into 2021 it is clear that we must put an end to the biological arms race, put the international scientific perpetrators and funders of the Wuhan disaster on trial, and strengthen the International Bioweapons Convention Protocol in order to ban so-called “Gain-of-Function” experiments forever.

A shadowy network of international military contractors and bioweapons specialists are funding and carrying out reckless genetic engineering and animal “passaging” experiments, collecting potential pandemic pathogens from the wild and then weaponizing these viruses and bacteria.
Meanwhile Big Tech and Big Pharma demonize and censor those, like the OCA, trying to expose this madness. This reckless science, carried out in badly-managed, accident-prone labs, is a recipe for disaster.
As Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. of Children’s Health Defense points out,
“The Machiavellian manipulation of this pandemic amounts to nothing less than an attempted coup d’état by big data, by big telecom, by big tech, by the big oil and chemical companies and by the global public health cartel led by Bill Gates and the WHO that… wants to magnify and amplify its wealth and its power over our lives, over our liberties, that wants to subvert our democracies and to destroy our sovereignty and our control over our lives and our children’s health.”
OCA’s Political Director in Washington DC, Alexis Baden-Mayer, has written extensively on what we call the “Hall of Shame,” which highlights the militarists, scientists, vaccine entrepreneurs, and would-be global overlords who brought on COVID-19.

The public health bottom line is that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is not so much a deadly plague in itself, but rather a viral “trigger” that aggravates and magnifies pre-existing, chronic medical conditions, what pathologists call “comorbidities.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control, 94 percent of death certificates for COVID-19 victims in the U.S. list a number of comorbidities or underlying health co-factors in their deaths. These included diabetes, obesity, heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, dementia and hypertension. The majority of these comorbidities are diet and food-related.
If we are to prevent and mitigate the “trigger effect” of SARS-CoV-2 we need a “Food Fix” that is more than the cosmetic change being offered by the incoming administration of Joe “Build Back Better” Biden.
Senator Bernie Sanders, Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Mercola, and the OCA, among others, have described the kind of regenerative Food Fix we need for our dangerous public health, food and farming crisis.

The Organic Consumers Association has been at the forefront of the organic and regenerative movement for over two decades.
OCA has done everything from mobilizing a grassroots movement to keep GMOs, sewage sludge and irradiation out of organic food, to promoting global Fair Trade and economic justice policies, as well as ensuring corporate accountability, including truth and transparency in food labeling.

Any revolution must begin small. This is especially true with the organic and regenerative revolution that must grow to save our world environment.
Local towns, municipalities, and farms are beginning to find the social, environmental, and monetary gains that come from farming regeneratively. Not only does regenerative farming enrich the soil, but it creates jobs and cohesion in communities, and can ultimately increase yields and profits for the farmers.
But the knowledge on how to go regenerative can be tricky to navigate. Farmers can run into problems, or hit a wall of progress, and end up quitting before seeing the benefits.
This is precisely the work that OCA’s sister organization, Regeneration International (RI), is doing around the world. Most recently, they have joined the virtual launch of the first Global Alliance for Organic Districts (GAOD), an alliance announced on World Food Day 2020 between Asian Local Governments for Organic Agriculture (ALGOA) and the International Network of Eco Regions (I.N.N.E.R.).
This alliance will work to create synergy and share knowledge on regenerative and organic agriculture practices between a diverse group of organizations across the globe.
RI’s role in the alliance is to promote and highlight soil health as the most effective tool to curb climate change while providing local communities with nutrient-dense food.
