Friend!!!!

Yesterday was a hard day for us, but today I'm choosing to celebrate our victories - WE WON IN GEORGIA!  As an undocumented organizer from Georgia, there are not enough words to describe the joy that I feel.

Our work, our resilience, our power is showing! Ossoff and Warnock will represent Georgia. The Senate is now 50-50, and with VP elect Harris as the tie breaking vote, Joe Biden has no excuse - Democrats must take immediate and progressive action to prioritize racial and immigrant justice!

The victory of Georgia organizers is a mandate - our immigrant communities MUST be prioritized. But as we saw yesterday at the Capitol, there are people fighting our vision of a more progressive future. Now, more than ever, we need bold, progressive and permanent solutions for our people. This is why we're demanding that the Biden-Harris administration deliver on the solutions that our communities need to thrive. We’re holding nothing back, and we need you to join us. Can we count on you to demand citizenship for all and defunding ICE & CBP?

Friend, we have seen that when we come together, change is not just possible, it’s inevitable. Black and brown communities have fought back against voter suppression and if it was possible in Georgia, I know that we can take down systems that suppress us in the whole country. By working together we have the power to defund ICE and CBP and demand citizenship for our people. It’s time to continue showing the system the power of the people!
