** New Board Members: Miguel Galvadon, Fathia Macauley, and Andreanecia Morris
------------------------------------------------------------
Grounded Solutions Network is pleased to announce the additions of Miguel Gavaldon ([link removed]) , ([link removed]) Fathia Macauley ([link removed]) and Andreanecia Morris ([link removed]) as the newest at-large members of our Board of Directors – congratulations!
As the proceeding years are particularly significant in Grounded Solutions' efforts to build the technical capacity and philanthropic influence of our members and stakeholders, Miguel brings substantial consulting experience, leadership knowledge and strategic input to advance Grounded Solutions' mission.
Additionally, countless studies highlight the struggle that many POC-led organizations face in navigating capital challenges and funding deficits. As such, Fathia is well-versed in community economic development and finance from the perspectives of lender, consultant, municipal representative and developer.
And as a longtime housing policy thought leader, community advocate and nonprofit executive, Andreanecia currently serves as Executive Director for HousingNOLA where, working with Grounded Solutions, she spearheaded the 2019 approval of New Orleans' 'Smart Housing Mix ([link removed]) mandatory inclusionary zoning policy.
Grounded Solutions remains dedicated to recruiting active leaders and board members who match our sense of urgency on behalf of the communities we all serve. We are confident in the skills, experience and perspectives Miguel, Fathia and Andreanecia will provide in service to our mission.
Congratulations again!
