John, look at what we accomplished together!

After going all out in November to successfully flip the Midwest and stop a second Trump term, we turned all of our focus to Georgia to take back the Senate.

If we failed, Mitch McConnell would have been able to block every piece of progressive legislation — but thanks to our hundreds of thousands of voter contacts and other organizing work, he is losing his job as majority leader! Now we must help push the Senate majority leader to take in the McConnell filibuster and use the Democratic majority to address the pandemic, economic and environmental crisis.

John, while we should celebrate, our work is far from done. Even with a Democratic Senate, corporate Democrats like Joe Manchin, Kirsten Sinema and Diane Feinstein must move with the caucus majority to end the McConnell filibuster. Our Revolution members made over 200,000 phone calls to voters in Georgia and sent 495,000 texts informing voters about the special election. In a race this close, those voter contacts made all the difference.

Additionally, Our Revolution members helped to fund local organizers in Georgia that knocked on thousands of doors in DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Walker counties.
