Team,

Today Congress will take the final step in confirming the results of the 2020 Presidential election. Since November 3, the fifty states -- including New Hampshire -- have worked to count and certify their results. On December 14, based on those results, the Electoral College cast its votes for Joe Biden, the winner, by a margin of 306-232. The 117th Congress will now receive those results to be counted one last time.

But at least 140 House Republicans and 12 Senate Republicans are set to publicly object to a handful of these state certifications without a shred of evidence. This is a clear attempt to undermine the results of a free and fair election, and we can't let it stand.

The actions of these members threaten to undermine our democracy. What's even scarier is that if we lose the House majority in 2022, the same people undermining our democracy will be in charge. If they're willing to do this now, there's no telling what they would do with the House majority.

History has shown that Republicans will have the advantage in 2022, and we'll have to fight hard to stop them. Chris is one of the most vulnerable members left after 2020. Will you chip in what you can to help Chris make the early investments he needs to defend this seat and the House majority in 2022?
