The EU just set ambitious new climate goals, but fossil fuel lobbyists are
working overtime to water them down!
The only thing that can stop them is a public consultation that just
   opened. Will you chip in

                      John,
European leaders just agreed to an ambitious climate deal to cut emissions
   by half.
But days later, after intense lobbying from the fossil fuel industry, they
   might walk it all back!
   We can’t let that happen.
The EU has just launched a public consultation to decide, and we have 4
weeks to get thousands and thousands of people to demand Europe keep its
   climate promises.
With everyone locked at home, only one thing can reach the hundreds of
   thousands of people: internet ads.

they’ll find our urgent campaign at the top of the results. We don’t have
long to stop this climate calamity -- can you help?

to make Europe keep its climate promise!
In December, the European Council put in place an ambitious 55% emission
reduction -- in less than a decade. It’s enough to put the EU back on
track to meet its Paris commitments.
But rather than requiring member states to make plans that meet this
target, politicians are leaving the door open for states to back out of
   the obligations.
2020 was supposed to be a year of national climate action, one last chance
to stop disaster. Instead, Covid brought the world to a standstill. We
need to seize every opportunity for climate ambition, not let it get
   watered down by corporate interests.
The public consultation is our big chance to ensure European countries
must meet the targets the world needs to survive.
Fortunately, while lockdowns have made almost everything harder, they’ve
made one thing much easier -- reaching people online with ads. We can take
advantage and flood this critical consultation. If we raise enough we can
even publish an online ad in the biggest EU newspapers.
