Hi there, just a couple days ago, our newest Congress was sworn in, ending my time in the House for now. I'll be frank: it wasn't easy to see my opponent take over my seat.

But, I'm proud of the campaign we ran and the progress we made in Congress during these last two years. You helped elect me as the first Democrat to represent CA-48 in Congress, and you supported me as I became the most legislatively productive freshman.

Those historic landmarks were only possible because of you. And what we achieve next will also only be possible because of you.
