John,
Every year, for the past four years, Women’s March has mobilized thousands of people across the country to fight for our collective freedom. While it is not safe for us to gather in person this January, that doesn’t mean we can’t join together to show the strength of our movement and refocus on the work ahead.
So instead of a nationwide march this January, we’re proud to be part of a powerful coalition known as The Frontline with groups like the Movement For Black Lives to do things a little differently this year.
On January 16, 2021 – the weekend before Biden’s inauguration – The Frontline is organizing #ForwardTogether, a mass organizing meeting to honor our progress, share our vision for the future, and connect with other activists in your state to learn how to plug in to political and mutual aid networks where you live.
Every victory we’ve won has been because of everyday people. We have shown up for each other through the negligence and cruelty of the past administration. Now, our fight continues for the future we all deserve, one that is rooted in care, love, and community.
On January 16, we’ll hear from activists, organizers, and everyday people across the country to build relationships across location and issue areas, and uplift a shared people's agenda. We also want to hear from you about what this administration’s priorities need to be.
The more people who join, the better prepared we will be to hit the ground running and continue our momentum as a movement of movements throughout the Biden administration.
Hope to see you there,
Tabitha Bernard-St. Jacobs
