Americans are tired of big money calling the shots in Washington — especially in the midst of a pandemic where the working class struggle while the rich get richer. It’s time to make our democracy about the people, and not profits.
Now, there's a movement for sweeping democracy reform through legislation like HR 1, the “For the People Act”, that would change our democracy by restoring the Voting Rights Act and introducing automatic voter registration, small donor public financing, redistricting reform, and more.

Sign now »Fellow progressive, in the 2016 and 2020 elections, we saw many of the problems with our democracy: voter suppression, gerrymandered districts, dark money, and foreign attempts at influencing our election results.
We need to make our government fairer and more democratic by banning dark money and partisan gerrymandering and taking a stand against foreign interference in our elections. And we need to prioritize automatic voter registration, ballot box protections, and campaign finance reform.
