*Governor Parsons Schedule for 2021 Bicentennial Inaugural Events*

*(JEFFERSON CITY, MO)* On *Monday*, *January 11*, *2021*, Governor Mike Parson will be sworn in as the 57th Governor of the State of Missouri at the 2021 Bicentennial Inauguration.

Governor Parson will also attend the 2021 Bicentennial Inauguration Prayer Service in Bolivar on *Saturday*, *January 9*, *2021*.

Both events will help kick-off the historic celebration of 200 years of Missouri history. Information regarding future inaugural events in conjunction with Missouris bicentennial celebrations later in 2021 will be released at a later date.

*What: *2021 Bicentennial Inauguration Prayer Service

*When: *3:00 p.m. | Press check-in begins

4:00 p.m. | Inaugural Prayer Service Begins

*Where: *Southwest Baptist University - Pike Auditorium

11:40 a.m. | Oaths of office administered to Attorney General, State Treasurer, Secretaryof State,

and Lieutenant Governor

12:00 p.m. | Oath of office administered to Governor Mike Parson by Judge Sarah Castle

12:04 p.m. | Governor Parson delivers inaugural address

12:21 p.m. | Salute to Missouri presentation

12:24 p.m. | Inauguration ceremony concludes

Reserved parking spots for satellite trucks and an equipment drop-off station for other members of the media will be available on High Street near Arris Pizza. Media without a satellite truck will need to park in Lot 12 on Missouri Boulevard at West Main Street. A parking map of the Capitol Complex can be found here [ [link removed] ].
