Friends,
I know that for so many families in our community and across the nation, 2020 was an incredibly challenging year, full of hardship and loss.
But we have also seen reasons to hope.
We came together in the face of a great challenge. Folks have stepped up to give to food banks and community relief organizations. Essential workers keep our mail coming and grocery stores stocked. And our health care workers continually show incredible courage and compassion caring for those who contracted COVID-19.
In December, we finally passed another relief package to get our people the aid they need, but there is more to be done. In this new year, we can look forward to increased vaccine distribution in New York and across the country, and our state and local governments will need federal support to ramp up distribution programs.
I believe that we will overcome this public health crisis and that 2021 will be a brighter year. I will continue to work in Congress to serve and empower our community, and I remain committed to listening to the people of this district in everything I do.
To learn more about our priorities in this new session of Congress, please take a moment to watch the news coverage of my recent State of the District address, and then share it with your friends and family in the district.
I hope you and your family are well,
Antonio
