Friend,

On recordings obtained by The Washington Post, Donald Trump attempted to pressure Georgia's secretary of state to change the outcome of the election based on unsubstantiated conspiracy theories. Here's what A.G. Holder had to say about it:

Eric Holder tweet: As you listen to the tape consider this federal criminal statute.

52 U.S.C. ยง 20511. A person who in any election for Federal office- (2) knowingly and willfully deprives, defrauds, or attempts to deprive or defraud the residents of a State of a fair and impartially conducted election process, by- (B) the procurement, casting, or tabulation of ballots that are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the State in which the election is held, shall be fined or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

Donald Trump and his cronies will stop at nothing to hold on to their power. Considering the same lawyers who have been coaching Trump on how to steal the election have also been coaching Republican state legislators on how to secure unearned majorities by manipulating the maps, we can't say this is shocking.

We want to know what you think about it, too. Take our one-click poll and let us know whether you think Donald Trump broke the law:
