Starting on January 3rd, 2021 through this morning, you might have noticed a delay in the delivery or a high bounce rate on targeted emails sent. This should have only affected a subset of your Gmail recipients. As of noon eastern today, we have resolved this issue and we now believe all emails have been delivered to their intended recipients and there are no on-going delays. As of this moment all emails are sending normally and you should not see any additional issues with any future emails. We are continuing to investigate the root cause of the delay to ensure it won't occur again.
In order to send a follow-up email to the affected universe, we would recommend creating a list targeting anyone who received one of the emails in question narrowed to email addresses with the domain “gmail.com”.
We are continuing to work with Gmail to find ways to prevent these delays in the future.
