You're invited: Reopen Cal Now conference this weekend
We thought you’d like to know about an event in the Sacramento area this weekend, January 8-10, featuring a distinguished line-up of public officials and experts discussing a safe way to reopen California.
The Reopen Cal Now public policy conference is presented by Sacramento County Supervisor Sue Frost, Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Hewitt, and Orange County Supervisor Don Wagner. Scheduled speakers include Congressman Tom McClintock, State Treasurer Fiona Ma, Assemblyman Kevin Kiley, Assemblyman James Gallagher, Sacramento Sheriff Scott Jones, Riverside Sheriff Chad Bianco, and El Dorado Sheriff John D’Agostini. Topics include constitutional rights during a state of emergency, the mental health and social impact of lockdown, the sheriff’s exclusive power and new COVID criminals, medical treatments, and economic impacts on California.
The conference will be held in an outdoor area and safety protocols will be followed. Organizers say attendees will be provided with masks, tables will be set up to ensure social distancing, and food providers will meet the highest safety standards. For those who can’t attend in person, the conference will be live-streamed.
For more information, to buy tickets for the conference or to register to watch the live-stream, go to https://ReopenCalNow.com. Tickets for the conference, which includes meals and local transportation, are priced at $150, and packages are available for hotel or RV accommodations. There’s no charge to view the conference via live-stream, which may be watched on YouTube or Facebook.
Sincerely,
