John,
We contacted you last week about how a joint session of Congress meets tomorrow, January 6th, to count the official Electoral College votes. But we need your help again.
Since we emailed, a dozen members of the Senate and at least 140 members of the House have said they plan to challenge the election results during this joint session. These attacks on the election are harmful to our democracy.
Click here to find and contact your members of Congress and tell them that the result of the presidential election is clear and that they must honor the will of the people on January 6th.
These threats to challenge the election results are based on baseless allegations and set a dangerous precedent for elections to come. The American people made their choice. Congress must respect that.
Call your members of Congress and tell them to honor the will of the people and the election results when they count the Electoral College votes tomorrow.
Thank you for all you do,
Ethan Rome Chief of Communications and Strategic Initiatives, Issue One
