*We are looking for 2 Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioners*
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Targeted CAMHS Team in Nottingham City as a trainee children's wellbeing practitioner. The post invovles a combination ofacademic studiesat the University of Reading and clinical work in Nottingham City. You will offer brief low-intensity based interventions for children and young people (CYP) experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression and/or conduct problem issues. You will be offering interventions both virtually andface to faceacross a number ofsites in Nottingham. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in both assessments and interventions and you will receive clinical and caseload supervision to support you with this.
We are looking for someone who is passionate aboutCYPand their families, looking to make a difference to their lives; For someone who can be part of a team and can bring enthusiasm and development into psychological practice. In return we can offer a welcoming and supportive team.
*ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:* Undergraduate degeree in relevant area (Psychology, Health & Social Care, Nursing, Teaching etc.)
Experience of working with CYP and their families
Evidence of working with CYP with mental health difficulties
Ability to incorporate training into practice
Able to develop therapeutic relationships with CYP.
