 The dam has finally broken on impeachment. Just moments ago, Speaker Pelosi endorsed impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump. This is a historic day for our country -- and our movement. And it wouldn't have happened without your activism. Her endorsement of impeachment proceedings brings us one step closer to protecting our democracy and holding Trump accountable for his crimes and corruption. And the momentum is not just coming from Pelosi -- it's coming from the entire Democratic caucus. As I write this, over 30 Democratic lawmakers have come out in support of impeachment in the last 24 hours. Make no mistake, the Stand Up America community has been one of the loudest grassroots voices demanding impeachment. Together, we drove over 110,000 phone calls (including over 15,000 since yesterday!), thousands of tweets and emails, and hundreds of office visits. This is a historic win, but the fight is far from over. Now, it's up to us to make sure that Congress doesn't slow walk the impeachment process any further. Our lawmakers must act swiftly to draft articles of impeachment, hold hearings, and vote to hold Trump accountable this fall. And we will not let any lawmakers off the hook. It is not just Democrats' responsibility to hold Trump accountable. Republicans must uphold their oath to protect the Constitution, and they will hear from us as well.
