By now you’ve probably read the news about Trump’s explosive phone call begging Georgia’s Secretary of State to overturn the election results.
During the call, Trump issued threats and asked Georgia officials to “find 11,780 votes” to overturn Biden’s victory in the state. Let’s be clear: this is 100% illegal. Trump thinks he can erase votes with his usual dirty tricks. Think again.
This is blatant election fraud and disinformation. There is zero evidence of election tampering. We need to spread the truth rapidly, and prepare for even more disinformation from Trump after tomorrow’s Senate runoff election.
We are mobilizing our 1,200 Digital Defenders who we’ve trained to combat election lies and online deception. But we need your help.
The presidential election results will be confirmed in Congress on Wednesday, so Trump is doing everything he can in these next three days to subvert our democracy and ignite his base ahead of tomorrow’s runoff. This is his last ditch effort, which is why he’s spending millions on lawyers and ads and anything he can to hold on to power.
Trump’s even holding a mass march in D.C. on Wednesday led by his front group, “Women for America First.” They’re claiming it will be “the biggest event in Washington D.C. history.”* It seems they forgot that the largest protest in D.C. was led by women...against Trump.
We must be ready to fight back with everything we have and make sure that every vote is counted tomorrow in Georgia no matter what. Every dollar helps us support our volunteers to combat disinformation and helps voters be prepared at the polls.
