John, you showed up big time to close out 2020 and support your immigrant neighbors, newcomers, and those seeking safety.

Supporters of the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC), like you, came together to give more than $535,000 (well exceeding our goal!) in the past couple of months to defend immigrants and protect asylum seekers.

2020 was a challenging year—personally, professionally, and emotionally—for many people. And seeing your compassion and generosity despite those challenges is inspiring and brings me hope and excitement for the new year.

Your support keeps families together and ensures thousands of immigrants can live, work, and thrive in the United States. I know together we can accomplish great things in the year ahead and make progress toward a humane and just immigration system that recognizes the dignity of all people.

I’m very grateful to our dedicated partners who gave generous matching grants during NIJC's year-end campaign: Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, NIJC's Leadership Board, Marj Lundy and Jamie Godshalk, and Perkins Coie LLP.

THANK YOU for all you do to fight for immigrant rights and stand with immigrants in your community

I look forward to working with you in 2021 to continue defending immigrants and fighting for justice for all. I wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy, and peaceful new year.

With gratitude,

Mary Meg McCarthy
Executive Director
National Immigrant Justice Center

P.S. In case you missed it, NIJC wrote a blog post highlighting some of the great things we accomplished together last year. Read it here: https://immigrantjustice.org/staff/blog/protecting-human-rights-2020. Because of your support, we’re looking forward to doing even more in 2021!
