The Washington Post: "Trump pressures Georgia secretary of state to recalculate the vote in his favor"
"All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes"
"Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break."
"There's nothing wrong with saying, you know, that you've recalculated."
That's President Trump in his own words. John: Trump is trying to cheat.
Trump threatened the Georgia Secretary of State in an attempt to pressure him to overturn the will of voters in Georgia.
This is yet another flagrant abuse of power from Trump.
And instead of standing up to Trump's attempts to undermine our democracy, Senate Republicans are formally objecting to the results of our country's free and fair election. The Senate GOP is choosing partisan politics over their sworn oath to support and defend our Constitution.
Senate Republicans' blatant disregard for our democratic values makes tomorrow's runoff elections in Georgia all the more urgent. If you are able, please split a contribution between Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock's campaigns and mine before midnight tonight.
Tomorrow's runoffs will determine control of the Senate. These two races are so important both President Trump and President-elect Joe Biden are visiting Georgia TODAY.
Jon and Raphael can flip the Senate and join us in working hand in hand with President-elect Joe Biden to restore the soul of our democracy and our country, but first, we need to give them our strongest grassroots support during these final hours before Election Day as they work to turn out every last Georgia voter to the polls.
It's more important than ever to stay active and engaged in our fight for the Senate. If you can, split a contribution between Jon and Raphael's campaigns and mine before midnight tonight and help flip the Senate tomorrow.
