Fellow progressive,
One of the most fundamental rights of our democracy is the right to vote. But currently, over 5 million voters are prevented from voting due to felony disenfranchisement laws.
And among the millions of disenfranchised Americans, there is a disproportionate number of Black people and people of color. Black adults who are currently living in America are more than four times as likely to lose their voting rights than other adults due to racist incarceration practices.
All citizens must be allowed to exercise their vote. We’re calling on Congress and state governments to end felony disenfranchisement and restore the vote to returning citizens. Fellow progressive, will you add your name now? »

As the late Congressman and civil rights hero John Lewis said best, “The vote is the most powerful nonviolent tool we have." Millions of voters, however, lose out on their chance to exercise their vote and determine their representation.
Fellow progressive, the vote is an absolutely fundamental right on which our society is built that no American deserves to lose. We need to stop the racist and undemocratic practice of felony disenfranchisement.
We’re standing with previously incarcerated Americans to tell Congress and state governments to restore the right to vote to returning citizens. Sign now to demand the end of felony disenfranchisement. »
