"I just want to find 11,780 votes..." -- Donald Trump
There it was. In plain language. A president of the United States pressuring a top state election official to "find" enough votes to overturn the peoples' decision in the 2020 election -- and threatening legal jeopardy if they don't.
Let's be crystal clear: Joe Biden won the state of Georgia and 306 total electoral votes. Any effort to say otherwise is a lie and an attack on our democratic system.
But twelve of my Republican colleagues have said they plan to do just that on Wednesday when we will vote to certify the Electoral College results. 20 other GOP Senators have not made their position clear yet. That's more than half the GOP Caucus!

In 16 days, Joe Biden will be sworn in as the next President of the United States and Donald Trump will lose power. But we have our work cut out for us to defeat Trumpism in all its forms and restore faith in our government.
That begins by certifying the Electoral College vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and completing the final step in our electoral process.
Republican Senators who want to align themselves with Trump's potentially criminal pressure tactics by obstructing this process should think again.
Add your name to call on ALL GOP Senators to certify the Electoral College results and reject Trump's attack on our election >>
