Tomorrow's Senate elections in Georgia could decide whether or not NYC receives tens of billions of dollars in COVID relief that our communities desperately need.
Just like in November, Georgia is incredibly close, John -- and we can move the needle by supporting grassroots organizers on the ground!
Thank you so much for all you do,

Dear John: The Georgia Senate runoff election is in exactly one week -- and all signs point to two incredibly close races.
This isn’t just about who represents Georgia, or which party controls the Senate. As the Gotham Gazette reports: “It’s not an exaggeration to say that tens of billions of dollars in pandemic-related aid to New York, and much more in terms of policy and future appropriations, could be on the line in Georgia.”
Make no mistake: These Georgia elections will have a direct impact on whether or not NYC will need to cut teachers next year. They'll affect whether or not we can keep our subway running. They'll decide whether or not we can provide adequate relief to NYC families struggling with bills and small businesses trying to stay afloat.
New Georgia Project Action Fund, co-founded by Stacey Abrams, is doing critical work to boost voter turnout across the state, from virtual rallies to offering rides to the polls. Please, if you’re able, split a donation of any amount between New Georgia Project Action Fund and our campaign so we can win both Georgia Senate seats and deliver the relief working families need →
Voter turnout is already breaking records -- over 2 million Georgians have already voted!
But Mitch McConnell and his super PAC friends are dumping hundreds of millions of dollars into the state to fund nasty attack ads against Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock.
Georgians are facing wall-to-wall political attack ads -- that’s why, to make a difference in these close races, we must support organizations like New Georgia Project Action Fund who can cut through the noise and get voters to the polls.
This is the best way to make an impact right now in Georgia: Fueling on-the-ground organizations that know their communities best.
The stakes are incredibly high -- thank you for your support, and please continue to stay safe,
-- Team Lander
