We’re creating a pipeline to careers on Capitol Hill and across federal agencies.

John --

We are proud to announce that we are opening applications for our seventh Congressional Leadership Development Program (CLDP), CLDP is one of my favorite programs because it creates a pipeline to careers on Capitol Hill and across federal agencies, and fosters pride in public service.

** What is CLDP?
------------------------------------------------------------

Through our networks, we place CLDP fellows into summer internships with a member of Congress on Capitol Hill. During that time, we train and mentor our fellows on how to engage members of Congress, learn the art of networking, build effective public speaking skills, and start their career in public service.

We are proud to share that in our latest class nearly 40% were offered full time positions on Capitol Hill. That’s progress. Our goal is simple: to provide young American Muslims the opportunity and experience necessary to engage first-hand in our nation’s policy-making process.

** What can you do?
------------------------------------------------------------

In the words of Congressman Keith Ellison, “If you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu.” Please take a moment to share this email with a highly-motivated individual who wants to enter public service and is passionate about amplifying the American Muslim voice in government.
