Join us for Episode 3 with Chef Stacey of 50 Pies / 50 States! 

Time to get cooking! LIRS Culture Kitchen is back and better than ever. Don't miss our first episode of the new year, airing Tuesday, January 12 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Stacey Mei Yan Fong,
creator of the 50 Pies / 50 States ([link removed]) project, will teach us how to make butternut squash hand pies. Be sure to sign up early — we'll be sending a recipe and ingredient list to registrants ahead of the event so you can follow along live.

** Stacey Mei Yan Fong
------------------------------------------------------------

Stacey Mei Yan Fong is a home baker and founder of 50 Pies / 50 States ([link removed]) , which she calls her "love letter to America." The project has been featured in Eater ([link removed]) and NPR's All Things Considered ([link removed]) . Stacey was born in Singapore and grew up in Indonesia and Hong Kong, and she currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, where everything in her home has a tiny dusting of flour on it.


** Krish O'Mara Vignarajah
------------------------------------------------------------

Krish is the President & CEO of Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service. She was nine months old when she and her family escaped civil war in Sri Lanka and built a life in Maryland. While she admits cooking isn't her strongest suit, she's grateful to the Culture Kitchen guests for their guidance (and patience!).
