Right now, we are facing a crisis in our democracy: the President of the United States refuses to concede that he lost in November’s election, he’s threatened the Republican Secretary of State in Georgia with criminality if he doesn’t falsely find exactly 11,780 votes in support of Trump. If this wasn’t enough, at least a dozen members of his party in the Senate are trying to help him undermine our democracy by overruling the Electoral College confirmation of President-elect Biden’s victory on Wednesday. All of it is unprecedented and extremely dangerous for our country.

In addition, Americans are still struggling in the face of the coronavirus pandemic after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell repeatedly refused to bring $2,000 stimulus checks up for a vote, despite bipartisan support and overwhelming public support.

It is abundantly clear what we have to do in order to protect our democracy, give the people what they need to survive this pandemic, and build back our country: we need to flip the Senate in Georgia tomorrow.

The fate of the next four years will be determined by tomorrow’s two runoff elections in Georgia between Jon Ossoff and Sen. Kelly Loeffler, and Rev. Raphael Warnock and Sen. David Perdue. With the GOP dumping more than $100 million in attack ads against them, Jon and Rev. Warnock need our last-minute support in these final 24 hours before the polls close and the election is over.

If we’re going to stop McConnell and Trump loyalists in the Senate from sabotaging the Biden presidency, betraying the Constitution for the sake of political gain, and blocking our progressive agenda for the people, we need to elect Jon and Rev. Warnock tomorrow to take back the Senate.
