Today our favorite Representative began his 5th term in Congress. But some of you may not know that Marc is also celebrating his 50th birthday today!
Celebrating a half-century of experiences is a milestone for anyone. It only happens once, maybe twice in a lifetime – if we're lucky. Now, imagine being sworn-in to represent Texas in the People’s House on that very same day. What a special occasion!
Marc may have a (tad) more mileage on him than he did when he was first sworn into Congress in 2013. But in 2021, he is even more driven to fight for every single person in the district – friends, family, and strangers all the same.

Being on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and a member of the DCCC leadership team is a time-consuming responsibility. Throughout the past cycle, I watched Marc put it all on the line for others up and down the ticket, and I'm proud of the work he has done. I can't wait for Marc to carve out an even more significant leadership role for himself and watch what's next.
