Happy New Year! I hope you had a good time this holiday season, however you managed to celebrate.

2021 is set to be a big year. The next nine years are absolutely critical for our planet, and for the survival of life on Earth. I'm sure you will have seen the raging forest fires, extreme heatwaves and devastating flooding happening around the world. Climate change and species extinction are threatening our very existence.

We urgently need governments and corporations to stop their addiction to dirty fossil fuels, switch to clean, renewable energy and transport, and save our forests and oceans - before it's too late. Greenpeace has a key role to play in holding government and business to account - and we can all have an impact. It's going to take everything we've got to make them listen.
