I’ve said day after day since Joe Biden was projected the winner
of the 2020 election that we must remain vigilant during this
period of transition. I’ve said that Donald Trump and his
Republican cronies aren’t done trying to steal the election. And
unfortunately, yet again, that view has been right.

In breaking news we are just hearing now, this past weekend,
President Trump dialed up Georgia Secretary of State Brad
Raffensperger and begged him to overturn the results of the
election in Georgia: “I just want to find 11,780 votes. Which is
one more than we have [...] There’s nothing wrong with saying
that, uh, that you’ve re-calculated.”

He then subtly threatened Secretary Raffensperger, saying that him
losing the election would be: “A big risk to you and your lawyer.
A big risk.”

John — I don’t need to tell you how
horrific and un-American this is. Donald Trump has tried
everything that he can do to overturn the election result, and
now he is resorting to begging and threatening Georgia state
officials to just magically “find” or “re-calculate” votes in his
favor. This is unacceptable. This is a coup attempt, plain and
simple.

And you better believe that these cheap tactics won’t stop with the
Presidential Election. They will try all of this over again in
this week’s critical Georgia Runoff Elections. That’s why I’m
asking you personally: Will you rush a split contribution to Rev.
Warnock, Jon Ossoff, and myself so that we can be ready for these
crooked tactics and fight back on the ground here in Georgia?
