11 Republican Senators just announced that they’ll challenge the outcome of the presidential election this week when Congress gathers to certify the Electoral College results.

Citing “unprecedented allegations of voter fraud,” these Senators are knowingly peddling misinformation—all to placate Donald Trump.

To be sure, this is a toothless political stunt. But it also erodes public trust in our democracy and sets a dangerous precedent.

The best way for us to reject Trumpism right now—the bigotry, conspiracy theories, the hate and division—is to elect Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in Georgia and take back the Senate.
