In just a few hours, I will be sworn in to Congress, representing my hometown and the community I have loved my entire life. I am honored and humbled -- and I’m ready to get to work.

While COVID has changed so much -- including a lot about the way the 117th Congress will operate -- I wanted to share a few ways you can participate in today’s events. I wouldn’t be here, about to be sworn in as California’s youngest Member of Congress, without your support, so I hope you can tune in!

My team and I are also hosting a ceremonial swearing-in ceremony at 4:30pm PT/7:30pm ET. My predecessor, retiring Congresswoman Susan Davis, will be administering the ceremonial oath of office, followed by brief remarks from community members. I’ll also share a few words about what this moment means to me and what it means for our country. I hope you can join us!
