In her latest attempt to smear Democratic challenger Raphael Warnock, Georgia GOP Senator Kelly Loeffler has claimed Warnock “can’t be trusted to keep Georgians safe.”

The reason, according to Loeffler? Warnock has proposed a ‘radical platform’ that includes working to “responsibly fund police departments while increasing accountability and ensuring our communities can support critical services outside of the criminal justice system.”

In other words, a Black man can’t be trusted for addressing racial injustice within the criminal justice system. That allegation reaches a new low. Want to know why we think Kelly Loeffler should focus on rebuilding her own credibility instead of attacking Warnock?

Loeffler is the richest member of the Senate, but she grew her wealth even further in 2020. How? She committed insider trading after getting privileged information on the coronavirus -- all while downplaying the threat of the pandemic to the public. She wasn’t elected to her office, but instead appointed by Georgia’s Republican governor, Brian Kemp.

Warnock is working hard to make blue inroads in Georgia -- and to help us retake the Senate, which now hinges on whether or not Warnock wins his race.
