Despite Hit to Alaska, Sullivan Will Again Back Trump's Border Emergency - National Journal, 09/24/2019
John --
Last week, I emailed you about how no state was hit harder by Donald Trump's emergency declaration than Alaska.
While our state is suffering from a budget crisis and the highest unemployment rate in the nation, the Trump administration is swiping $102 million in funding for Alaska military construction projects and sending the money to the southern border for Trump's wall.
If I had the honor of representing Alaska in the U.S. Senate, I would vote against spending Alaska's military dollars, our dollars, on a border wall.
But instead of standing up and fighting for his own constituents, Dan Sullivan just told the National Journal he will be siding with Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell once again. It doesn't make any sense.
It makes you wonder who Dan Sullivan is working for these days, because certainly, it's not Alaskans.
It's never mattered more for us to defeat Dan Sullivan and his extreme allies. We must build a campaign that can win a competitive race in order to bring representation back to the state of Alaska. I'm asking you right now if you'll rush a donation before our FEC fundraising deadline on Monday. Can I count on you?

This an opportunity for us to show Dan Sullivan that his constituents are ready to replace him with a new senator who will have their back.
I will.
Thank you,
