After more than two decades of hard work and dedication, the Democratic Party of Virginia (with the help of grassroots supporters like you!) finally flipped Virginia blue and delivered a statewide Democratic trifecta in 2019.

But now is not the time to take anything for granted. On January 5, Virginians will vote in two special elections for the Virginia General Assembly -- will you chip in today to help us make sure these seats stay blue?

After a historic victory in 2019, Virginia Democrats got to work right away on making Virginia a better place to live. In just a few weeks, they passed legislation to:

• Protect reproductive and LGBTQ rights
• Ratify the Equal Rights Amendment
• Implement new gun safety measures
• Decriminalize marijuana

We’ve made great progress, but there’s still more work to be done on issues like racial justice, climate change, and police reform. We’ll have the opportunity to make it happen -- but ONLY IF Democrats maintain control of the General Assembly.
