Happy New Year! Today is not only the first day of 2021 — it's also Derek's 47th birthday!

When Derek turned 46 last year, we asked our team to join him in saying "goodbye to 45" — meaning defeating Donald Trump and saying "goodbye" to the 45th president. And because of this grassroots team, Derek's birthday wish came true.

Now, a new challenge is up ahead. (And this time it's a whole lot sooner!)

In just four days, Georgia voters will be determining the future of the Senate majority when they vote in the historic runoff election. Help Derek celebrate his 47th birthday by splitting $4.70 between Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock's campaigns. Every dollar goes directly to these two candidates and could make all the difference in races as close as theirs.

Jon is a small business owner and former investigative journalist, and he was mentored by the late Congressman John Lewis. Reverend Warnock is the senior pastor at the Ebenezer Baptist Church and preaches from the same pulpit that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. did. He would be the first Black senator to ever represent Georgia.

Derek is working to make sure we start the new year on the right footing, and that includes flipping the Senate blue and ending McConnell's majority rule once and for all.
