Happy New Year!

2021 is just hours old—and already I have big news for you.

After all the curveballs 2020 threw our way, one final challenge loomed large. This time last week, I didn’t know if we’d be able to fund the critical work needed to defend animals in 2021. We set an ambitious target, because we have an ambitious goal to spare millions more animals from extreme suffering this year.

Because of compassionate people like you, we are now in a great place to maximize our impact for animals over the next 12 months.

The funds we raised will go to work immediately to end abusive practices like boiling chickens alive.

You made so much progress for animals last year, especially in the last two months—which saw a wave of groundbreaking animal welfare commitments from Whole Foods Market, Burger King, Popeyes, and grocery chain Aldi. Tens of millions of animals will lead substantially better lives thanks to you.
 
Each new year is a chance for new campaigns, new commitments, and new wins for animals.
