Friends — our country is at a crossroads.
Every year, more than 36,000 Americans lose their lives to gun violence.
This is a national crisis, and it’s happening to families in every community. Our country is being ravaged by gun violence.
And the thing is, we have solutions available to make our communities safer. But the Republican Senate is refusing to hold a debate or a vote on the universal background checks bill that will save lives.
So it’s up to us to demand they have the courage to act, and that starts with making your voice heard:
We’re going to continue protesting, marching in the streets, and pressuring Congress to act.
We know that our collective voices are louder than any amount of money or misinformation the gun lobby will use to stop bills like this from passing.
