Dear John,

The Supreme Court has ruled that the prorogation of Parliament was unlawful.

In short, this means that the Court has upheld parliamentary sovereignty, and as a result, my colleagues and I will be returning to Parliament tomorrow.

This is a huge moment for our democracy. The Green Party has always advocated for a grass-roots, bottom up approach to democracy, with a written constitution decided by citizen-led assemblies and electoral reform - and we need it now more than ever.
