** One in 7 New Orleans adults has an arrest warrant out. Politicians propose forgiving them all.

The city of New Orleans has issued some warrants. 56,000 of them to be exact. The equates to 1 out of every 7 adults in New Orleans. Almost all of them are for failure to appear to handle a citation of some sort. 94 percent of those were for misdemeanor offenses such as public intoxication and fishing without a license.
