First up, a new democracy.

2021 will be a year of soul-searching and urgent action for our nation. It is from historical turning points like the one we’re in that great opportunities for reform emerge. Thanks to your support, we stand ready to seize this moment.

The American people have big dreams for our republic — and turned out to vote and protest in historic numbers to prove it.

This year, Issue One will fight for those aspirations. Together, we will imagine a new democracy that represents and serves all Americans, and that can stand as a true counterweight to the rising tide of authoritarianism in the world. We will not only imagine it, we will fight for it in the toughest battle ground I know — Capitol Hill.

There has NEVER been a more vital moment for us. It will take Issue One’s bold, hard-nosed commitment to bipartisanship and our powerful crosspartisan movement to win the major reforms our democracy badly needs.
