A joint decision has recently been taken by Nottingham City Council and Nottingham BID that Light Night 2021 will not be proceeding.
This extremely popular annual event normally sees over 40k visitors.
Even if current restrictions are eased by February, It is unlikely that people would be able to enjoy the event in the same manner they have done in previous years.
Plans are already afoot for Light Night 2022.

Wollaton Hall and Deer Park
Following the Tier 4 announcement for Nottinghamshire, it is with huge regret that organisers have announced the closure of Christmas at Wollaton, effective from 31 December 2020.
All ticket holders will be contacted ASAP regarding their bookings for 31 December - 3 January.
However, the event will be back bigger and better in 2021! Stay tuned for more details.

International superstar Lionel Richie will come to Nottingham in the summer to play a special outdoor concert in the beautiful surroundings of Victoria Embankment.
Lionel Richie's music is part of the fabric of pop music. He is one of only two songwriters in history to achieve the honor of having #1 records for nine consecutive years.

With 2021 looking brighter for all, love really will be all around as Wet Wet Wet head back out on the road for a full theatre tour.
‘The Journey’ will be the band’s second full run with singer Kevin Simm, who was seamlessly welcomed into the fold in 2018. Previously a member of BRIT Award winning band Liberty X, Kevin won the 2016 series of The Voice UK.
Wet Wet Wet is undeniably a musical phenomenon, having made an incredible impact with their music over the last four decades, becoming one of the most successful bands in British pop history.
