I hope your week is off to a great start.

Children are such a blessing. I want to introduce you to one of those blessings, Major. He is just one of the children you have helped rescue!

Major is a serious, precocious kindergartener with a big smile, long lashes, and a love for all things green. You will soon understand why.

Just listening in on a conversation between him and his mom, it quickly became apparent why Major loves coloring with his green marker so much!

Mom - “Major, what’s your favorite movie?”

Major - “The Griiiinch.”

Mom - “The who?”

Major - “The Grinch!”

Mom - “The Grinch?”

Major - “Uhhhhh-hmmm.”

Mom - “Why do you like the Grinch?”

Major - “Because he is green, cuz that’s my favorite color.”

Mom - “What’s your favorite food?”

Major - “Pizza, cuz I like pepperoni pizza.”

Mom - “What’s the worst thing to eat?”

Major - “Green beans. Sometimes I eat ’em, but sometimes I don’t. Cuz the Grinch don’t like green beans.”

Fast forward to Major’s favorite stuffed animal...the Grinch. And if his stuffed animal could talk, what would he say?

Major - “The same thing as the movie… His heart was broken, and he was mad because he hated Christmas.”

Mom - “Do you hate Christmas?”

Major - “Nope.”

Mom - “Well, why do you like the Grinch so much if he hates Christmas?”

Major animated and waving his hands - “I didn’t say I hate Christmas, did I?”

Mom laughing - “No, you didn’t.”

John, Major is just one of the 13,841 children you have helped rescue over the years. What a joy it is to watch him grow, start school, and live life.

Unique from the moment of conception, God has perfectly designed each child to be special in his or her own way.

Today, one more child will be riding the school bus and grabbing his backpack because you cared. One more child will be reciting her ABCs, giggling, playing, and learning at school because of YOU. 

I am so thankful that we get to share Major’s story with you because there are so many children like him who are alive today because of your partnership. Their moms are thankful that they had support, care, and help when they needed it most, empowering them to choose life.

But the need is still great. Even though you have helped the number of children rescued consistently rise, there is still so much left to do in order to rescue the next child. Unfortunately, each day, more than 3,000 children won't live to see their first day of school due to abortion.
