John,

I wanted to write tonight to wish you and your family a Happy New Year’s Eve and a healthy and prosperous New Year.

I know that 2020 was a long and difficult year. Because of the COVID pandemic, millions of hard-working Americans are in need. Many of our families and small businesses are suffering, and many of us have had to make the difficult decision to spend time apart from our loved ones.

This year, our nation has faced unprecedented challenges, and many families have faced irreplaceable losses. However, thanks to the dedication and sacrifice of our frontline workers and all of our brave citizens, I am optimistic for a brighter New Year.

I’m proud that Congress successfully funded the fastest vaccination development and distribution through Operation WarpSpeed in human history. I hope that this medical miracle allows us to return to our way of life in 2021; I hope that this year brings renewed health and prosperity to our great nation.

As the Representative for New York’s 21st District, I promise to keep working tirelessly to get essential relief to our families and small businesses, and we will keep fighting to reach the other side of this pandemic together.
