Right now, Steve is facing the biggest deadline of this campaign yet. At 11:59 PM on Friday, a six-month-long fundraising blackout during the legislative session will begin, prohibiting our campaign from receiving contributions.

This is prime time for:

-- National Republicans to outraise us

-- Right-wing super PACs to run attack ads against us

-- Any potential opponents to get a head start in flipping this toss-up seat

After the blackout, we’ll be walking right into a tough re-election campaign and we need to be prepared for anything. So Steve has set a goal to raise $25,000 before the blackout begins to give this campaign a strong foundation for when it’s time to hit the ground running.
